John Easton

John was the State Prosecutor for the Felony Drug Unit, as well as the State Prosecutor for Theft/Property Crimes Unit Former State Prosecutor for Sex Crimes Task Force.

John is one of the few criminal defense attorneys in Utah to have received advanced training by the FBI in the use of forensic DNA in sex crimes and violent crimes.

Licensed in California and Utah John focuses his practice on unlawful police detentions, probable cause, search and seizure, and police misconduct.

John recognizes the special needs of some clients suffering from mental wellness issues, such as Veterans, and works for treatment and recovery, rather than punishment.
